Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a well-regarded SEN school in Lambeth Teach a KS3 class of students with a range of special educational needs (including autism, learning difficulties, and SEMH) Develop and deliver an individualized curriculum that caters to the diverse needs and abilities of students Use a variety of engaging teaching strategies to support learning and encourage progress Foster an inclusive learning environment , ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally Monitor and assess student progress , adapting lessons and interventions as needed Work collaboratively with SEN support staff , therapists , and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each student Provide regular feedback to parents and carers, ensuring open communication about student development Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential Experience teaching KS3 students in a special educational needs setting, or experience working with SEN students Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and experience in differentiating the curriculum to meet individual needs A patient, creative, and flexible approach to teaching Excellent communication and teamwork skills Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
