Job description
ECT of RE – Outstanding Induction for Multi-Faith & Ethics Teaching – Newham A progressive secondary school in Newham is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Religious Education to join their dynamic Humanities faculty from January 2026. ECT of RE required from January 2026. Newham-based school located in a diverse inner-city area (Inner London salary). Seeking an enthusiastic ECT passionate about teaching diverse world religions and philosophical ethics . You will teach Religious Education across KS3-KS5. The role includes focusing on developing rigorous academic skills within the humanities, supported by a clear, standardized curriculum and an outstanding ECT mentorship programme. Experience and Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) or expected QTS by January 2026. Relevant degree in Theology, Philosophy, or RE. Strong interest in teaching diverse world religions and ethical debates. Commitment to completing the ECT Induction with enthusiasm and dedication.
