Job description
An ambitious and inclusive 11–18 school in Hereford is seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher (ECT) to join its thriving Performing Arts faculty from January 2026 . About the Role You’ll teach Drama across KS3–KS4, with opportunities to support extra-curricular productions and creative showcases. The department prides itself on fostering imagination, collaboration and self-confidence through performance. ECTs receive dedicated mentoring, regular observations, and weekly support meetings. Lessons are planned collaboratively with shared schemes and resources to help you establish yourself confidently in the classroom. The School Rated Good by Ofsted, this school has an excellent reputation for the arts. Its purpose-built performance studio, lighting rigs, and rehearsal rooms provide the perfect environment for creative teaching. Students are polite, expressive and eager to engage in performance projects. You’ll Bring QTS and completion of a Drama PGCE or equivalent. Energy, enthusiasm and a reflective teaching approach.
