Job description
A well-established secondary school in Bristol is seeking a reliable and technically confident IT Technician to join its support team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy education setting, providing essential technical support that underpins teaching, learning, and safeguarding across the school. The Role You will provide first- and second-line IT support to staff and students, ensuring systems and classroom technology operate smoothly throughout the school day. The role is hands-on and varied, requiring strong problem-solving skills and a calm, professional approach. Key responsibilities include: Providing day-to-day IT support for staff and students Troubleshooting hardware and software issues promptly Supporting classroom technology, including laptops, desktops, printers, and interactive displays Managing user accounts, devices, and access permissions Assisting with network and system maintenance Supporting data protection, cybersecurity, and safeguarding procedures Working with external providers on larger technical issues or projects Maintaining accurate records of faults, fixes, and equipment The School Environment This Bristol secondary school is known for its clear systems, supportive leadership, and positive working culture.
