About the Role You will be teaching Art across KS3–KS4 , delivering lessons that inspire students to explore a range of artistic media, experiment with different visual languages, and develop the foundational skills needed for success in coursework and beyond. The department uses structured, well-resourced schemes of work but encourages ECTs to bring their own artistic identity, whether that be drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, digital design or textiles. You will work closely with a supportive Head of Art and a friendly wider faculty who are highly experienced in supporting ECTs. Weekly mentoring sessions, developmental observations, reduced timetable allocations, collaborative planning sessions and shared assessment frameworks ensure you are never left navigating your induction alone.
