Job description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an inspiring Science Teacher to join a leading independent day and boarding school in Bath, renowned for its academic excellence, holistic education, and strong pastoral support. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing January 2026. About the Role The successful candidate will teach General Science at KS3–KS4 , with the potential to teach a specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at KS5 depending on experience. You will work within a collaborative department that fosters intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for discovery. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire. Contribute to the enrichment programme, including Science clubs, competitions, and field trips. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong outcomes. Uphold the school’s ethos of academic ambition balanced with pastoral care. Participate in whole-school activities, including house events and outdoor learning.
