Job description
The Headteacher of this well-regarded school is looking to appoint a dynamic Economics Teacher to join their successful and thriving department. Economics is a highly popular subject at the school, with students consistently achieving excellent outcomes at both GCSE and A-Level . This is a fantastic opportunity for an Economics Teacher looking to progress in a supportive environment. The role would suit either an ECT or an experienced teacher who is eager to develop their skills and contribute to a department committed to excellence. What the school is looking for: Location: Nottingham Start Date: September Position: Economics Teacher Teaching Level: KS4 and KS5 (GCSE and A-Level) Ideal Candidate: ECT or experienced A passion for Economics The ability to support an already exceptional department Commitment to securing excellent outcomes for students of all abilities Fresh and innovative methods for delivering the curriculum Excellent communication and ICT skills The successful Economics Teacher will bring a passion for Economics to the classroom and inspire students to achieve their full potential. They will be enthusiastic and dedicated, contributing new ideas to the department and fostering a love of the subject among their students. School Information: The school is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive , well-regarded in the local area for its academic success. It is recognized for its positive learning culture and was graded Outstanding by Ofsted in its most recent report. Experience and Qualifications Required: Degree in Economics or related subject QTS or PGCE Ability to teach Economics to GCSE and A-Level Salary: The salary for this Economics Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS .
