Job description
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and committed Science ECT to join an Outstanding secondary school in Bury St Edmunds from January . This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified Teacher to begin their career in a supportive, well-resourced and high-performing Science department. The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3–KS4 , with the opportunity to develop towards KS5 teaching as experience and confidence grow. You will benefit from a structured ECT induction programme, reduced timetable, dedicated mentoring and high-quality professional development. Experience and Qualifications Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Physics PGCE with QTS Training to teach Science at KS3–KS4 Strong understanding of practical science and laboratory safety Commitment to developing as a reflective and effective practitioner Salary Paid to scale at MPS1 .
