Location: Brentford, West London Start Date: January Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term (Term Time Only) Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm Pay Rate: £90–£105 per day About the School A friendly and inclusive primary school in Brentford is seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January. The SEN department is experienced and well-resourced, providing structured support plans and guidance for staff. This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives, providing both academic and emotional support. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with additional needs across the school. Your role will involve 1:1 support, small group interventions, and classroom assistance , ensuring that pupils are fully included in learning activities. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement strategies and ensure pupils make progress academically and socially. You will also play a key role in supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing, helping them to build confidence, independence, and resilience. Your support will be essential in enabling pupils to engage with the curriculum and school life fully.
