Job description
Drama Teacher – Outstanding School in Reading (ECT’s Welcome) Are you a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher seeking a new opportunity in an outstanding school? We are looking for an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join a thriving department in a high-achieving school in Reading, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position and we welcome applications from experienced Drama Teachers as well as ECTs. About the Drama Department The Drama department is a vibrant and successful part of the school, with a strong track record of producing high-quality productions and fostering a love of drama in students. As a Drama Teacher you will have the opportunity to contribute to the department's continued success and shape the future of drama education at the school. About the Role As a Drama Teacher , your responsibilities will include: Teaching Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4. Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners. Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback. Contributing to the Drama department's curriculum development and resource creation. Directing and producing school productions. Creating and maintaining a stimulating and supportive learning environment. Working collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school. Participating in relevant professional development opportunities. Experience and Qualifications Drama related Degree QTS or PGCE Drama Teacher Salary The salary for this Drama Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
