Job description
Location: Nottingham Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Are you an enthusiastic PE Teacher seeking a fantastic opportunity to start your career as an ECT or further develop it as an experienced PE Teacher? Are you committed to inspiring and motivating students to excel in physical education? This ambitious and forward-thinking school is seeking a well-qualified and dedicated PE Teacher to join their successful and well-equipped department. About the School: This is a highly regarded school with just over 1000 students on roll, aged 11-18 years. The school offers excellent support and CPD for staff at all stages of their careers, including ECTs. The school is known for its positive learning culture, where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential in both academic and extracurricular activities. The students are described as "polite, respectful, and eager to succeed," and staff are valued for their contribution to the school's vibrant community. The Role – PE Teacher: Teaching PE across KS3, KS4 (GCSE), and KS5 (A-Level). Inspiring and motivating students to engage with physical education and maintain an active lifestyle. Creating engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to a range of abilities. Contributing to extracurricular sports activities and school events. Experience and Qualifications: Degree in PE, Sports Science, or a related subject. PGCE, QTS, or other relevant teaching qualification. Experience teaching PE at GCSE and A-Level. ECTs are welcome to apply. Salary: The salary for this PE Teacher position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract: MPS/UPS.
