A high-performing, inclusive, and compassionate 11–18 school in Swindon is seeking an experienced and visionary SENCO to lead its SEND provision from January 2026 . This is a full-time, permanent leadership position within an Outstanding school committed to ensuring every student receives the tailored support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. About the Role The SENCO will take a strategic and operational lead in overseeing all aspects of special educational needs and inclusion. They will manage the school’s SEND team, coordinate EHCPs , and ensure compliance with statutory frameworks. The role also includes developing targeted interventions, leading staff training on differentiation and adaptive teaching, and maintaining productive partnerships with external agencies and families. This post is ideal for an experienced SENCO who is passionate about embedding a culture of inclusion across the school. The successful candidate will be proactive, empathetic, and solution-focused, ensuring that all students — regardless of their individual needs — can achieve excellence and independence.
