Science Teacher – Clacton-on-Sea

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Clacton-on-Sea for an immediate start . This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for either an experienced practitioner or a strong ECT seeking a supportive environment to develop their classroom practice. The Role You will be responsible for teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 , delivering engaging, purposeful lessons that promote scientific thinking, practical investigation and strong exam outcomes. The department follows well-structured schemes of work that provide both clarity and flexibility, allowing teachers to adapt lessons to suit their teaching style while maintaining consistency across year groups. You will work closely with a collaborative team of Science specialists who share resources, moderate assessments, and support each other professionally. Technician support is strong, ensuring that practical lessons are safe, efficient and meaningful for students.
