Job description
Art Teacher – Sixth Form College – Birmingham An Outstanding sixth-form college in Birmingham requires a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join their Art department. This is a full-time, permanent position teaching Key Stage 5 (with potential for Key Stage 4 for a suitably experienced candidate). Art Teacher Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners. Assess student progress regularly and provide effective feedback. Create a positive and engaging classroom environment. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Art department. Be part of an Outstanding team. Art Teacher Requirements: Qualified Art Teacher Status (QTS). A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a closely related subject. Proven experience teaching Art at the secondary or post-16 level. Strong classroom management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The desire to work as an Art Teacher.
