Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated, analytical and enthusiastic Maths ECT to join a high-performing and forward-thinking secondary school in Huntington, York . This is a full-time, permanent position beginning January 2026 , ideal for an Early Career Teacher seeking exceptional support, a well-structured curriculum and a strong behaviour culture. Job Overview You will teach Maths across KS3–KS4, delivering engaging lessons that strengthen numeracy, reasoning and problem-solving. The school is seeking an ECT who enjoys modelling mathematical thinking, using varied strategies to build understanding and supporting students of all abilities to make sustained progress. There will also be opportunities to contribute to enrichment including UKMT challenges, revision programmes and ECT development sessions.
