Job description
Our ambitious school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated and skilled Music Teacher to join our successful and growing Music department within a thriving Arts faculty. We are keen to hear from Music Teachers who are not only excellent practitioners but also passionate about inspiring a love for Music in young people. If you are a dedicated Music educator looking to make a real difference, this Music Teacher role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with enthusiastic students. Join our committed Music team and contribute to the vibrant musical life of our school. Location: Hounslow Role: Music Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and challenging Music lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5). Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for a wide range of musical genres and styles. Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Arts department to share best practice and enhance the Music curriculum. Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Music . Potentially direct musical ensembles, manage instrumental tuition, or develop links with external musical organizations. We Offer: Competitive London-based salary. Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply). Strong musical skills, including performance experience and theoretical knowledge. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead musical activities. Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the Music department and school music .
