Job description
Science Teacher – Reading Outstanding Secondary School Full-Time | April 2026 Start An Outstanding secondary school in Reading is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their highly successful department on a full-time, permanent basis from April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a high-performing school with exceptional standards, motivated students, and a strong culture of academic excellence. The Role You will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on subject specialism and experience. The role involves planning and delivering high-quality, well-structured lessons that inspire curiosity and support strong academic outcomes. You will assess, track, and report on student progress, using data to inform teaching and intervention where required. You will work closely with an experienced and collaborative science department that values consistency, subject expertise, and professional development.
