Secondary SEN Class Teacher – Inspirational SEN School – Hillingdon 📍 Location: Hillingdon 📅 Start Date: April 2025 📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience) Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to inspire and support students in a nurturing and dynamic learning environment? Your Role as a Secondary SEN Class Teacher: 🔹 Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and communication needs . 🔹 Use adaptive teaching strategies to meet the individual learning needs of students. 🔹 Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment where students feel confident and motivated. 🔹 Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to implement personalised learning plans. 🔹 Encourage students' independence, confidence, and social skills through innovative teaching approaches. 🔹 Assess and track student progress, ensuring they receive the best possible learning experience . 🔹 Build strong relationships with parents and carers , keeping them engaged in their child’s education. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with experience teaching SEN students (Secondary experience preferred). ✅ A passion for inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs. ✅ Experience in SEN settings or a strong understanding of differentiated learning approaches . ✅ Excellent communication and behaviour management skills . ✅ A positive, patient, and proactive approach to education. ✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
