Job description
Geography Teacher required full-time from January 2026 Coeducational independent school (ages 10–18) in rural Leicestershire Join a strong Humanities department with well-supported Geography provision We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a prestigious and high-achieving independent grammar school. You will teach Geography at KS3 & KS4, and depending on experience, have the opportunity to contribute to A-Level/IGCSE or extension Geography classes. The department is led by a supportive Head of Humanities who values fieldwork, inquiry, and high standards. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers, ECTs, or overseas-qualified candidates holding recognised teaching credentials and QTS (or equivalent). It operates across junior and senior campuses, with the Senior School located in the heart of Market Bosworth. In the Geography curriculum, students enjoy regular fieldwork: the school runs a residential field trip to the Dorset coast , and for A-Level students, trips to North West Wales. The school maintains excellent academic standards: public examination results are consistently strong, and the school is academically selective and well regarded. The campus combines historical charm and modern facility upgrades: the senior campus is set within a picturesque Market Bosworth location, with ample outdoor playing fields, all-weather pitches, tennis courts, and designated humanities and creative arts suites.
