Job description
Science Teacher required to work on a full-time position from January 2026 Independent school based in Manchester Science Teacher to join a highly successful and well-equipped department Our Client is looking for a Science Teacher to work within a leading independent day school in Manchester. The successful Science Teacher will teach KS3–KS5 and contribute to the school’s ongoing success in STEM enrichment activities. School Information This selective 11–18 independent school has approximately 1,100 pupils and an outstanding academic record, achieving 98% grades 9–4 at GCSE and 87% A–B at A Level. The Science department is exceptionally well-resourced, with recently refurbished laboratories, digital learning tools, and close partnerships with local universities and research organisations. The department has a proud tradition of achievement in national competitions such as the UK Chemistry and Physics Olympiads. Teachers work collaboratively to provide a curriculum that balances academic rigour with creativity and exploration.
