Job description
School Information This established independent co-educational school in Surrey educates pupils aged 11–18 and is known for its strong academic reputation, excellent pastoral provision, and well-managed operational systems. The leadership team works closely with non-teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of all financial, operational, and administrative functions. Role Information The school is seeking an experienced School Business Manager to oversee the strategic and day-to-day management of finance, operations, and resources. Reporting directly to the Head, you will play a key role in ensuring financial sustainability, compliance, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include overseeing budgeting and financial planning, managing contracts and procurement, supervising administrative and site teams, and supporting long-term strategic planning. You will also work closely with governors and senior leaders, providing clear financial reporting and advice.
