We are seeking an outstanding Year 2 Teacher to join our welcoming and dynamic school in Slough, starting in September 2025! Year 2 Teacher Role 📍 Location: Slough ⏰ Working Hours: Full-Time 🗓 Start Date: September 2025 Why You’ll Love This Role Year 2 is a vital year in a child’s learning journey, as they build on their foundational skills and prepare for Key Stage 2. You’ll play a key role in developing their literacy, numeracy, and confidence, ensuring they thrive academically and socially. What You’ll Be Doing Delivering engaging and interactive lessons that inspire a love for learning. Supporting children’s transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2 through well-structured and creative teaching. Using a variety of assessment tools to track progress and adapt teaching accordingly. Encouraging curiosity, resilience, and independence in every child. Collaborating with parents and colleagues to create a strong support system for pupils. What We’re Looking For ✅ A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent). ✅ Experience teaching Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2. ✅ A strong understanding of phonics, literacy, and numeracy development. ✅ A creative, engaging, and nurturing approach to teaching.
