Job description
Are you a compassionate and motivated SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding role in a specialist SEN setting ? Do you have experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, and complex learning needs ? If so, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join an outstanding SEN school in Hillingdon on a part-time, fixed-term basis starting in April 2025 . This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine impact on children’s lives while benefiting from a supportive and collaborative work environment . Why You’ll Love This School: - Highly respected SEN school catering to children with a range of additional needs - Specialist learning environments including sensory rooms, therapy spaces, and interactive classrooms - Collaborative, multidisciplinary team – Work alongside therapists, SENCOs, and support staff - Small class sizes to ensure personalised learning and tailored interventions Your Role: - Deliver engaging, individualised lessons to small groups of students with complex needs - Implement EHCPs and monitor progress closely - Use adaptive teaching strategies to meet a diverse range of learning needs - Encourage social and emotional development through structured support and interventions - Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and professionals to create the best outcomes for students What We’re Looking For: ✔️ QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) with SEN experience ✔️ A positive, patient, and resilient attitude ✔️ Experience with ASD, ADHD, or PMLD ✔️ Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with support staff ✔️ Knowledge of alternative communication methods (e.g., Makaton, PECS) is a plus!
