Job description
History ECT required to work on a full-time position from January 2026 Mixed secondary school based in Great Baddow History ECT to join a highly successful and supportive Humanities department Our Client is looking for a History ECT to work within a highly respected mixed school in Great Baddow. The successful History ECT will be expected to teach at KS3 & KS4. The department is well resourced and led by an approachable and experienced Head of Humanities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT to grow in a structured and professional environment. School Information Over-subscribed school with excellent behaviour and motivated pupils Mixed school with modern classrooms and well-embedded systems Strong academic outcomes and highly structured curriculum This 11–18 school educates around 1,250 pupils and benefits from an experienced and stable leadership team. The Humanities faculty works collaboratively with shared planning and assessments. ECTs receive comprehensive induction support including mentoring, formal observations, CPD and reduced teaching load. Staff describe the school as organised, professional and extremely supportive. Experience and Qualifications History ECT with the ability to teach at KS3 & KS4 A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE) Legal right to work within the UK Application To be considered for this History ECT position please forward a CV as soon as possible.
