Job description
Lead Practitioner of Science – Outstanding School The Headteacher of this highly successful and oversubscribed school is looking to appoint a new Lead Practitioner of Science to join their Science department. Science is an extremely popular and thriving subject in the School with excellent outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Science teacher looking to progress in a highly skilled supportive environment. What the school is looking for: April or September Start Lead Practitioner of Science Science to GCSE and for A-Level An outstanding practitioner A passion for Science The ability to help support an already exceptional team The ability to secure excellent achievement across all key stages A commitment to fresh and exciting methods of delivering the curriculum A relentless drive to secure the best possible outcomes for students of all abilities Excellent communication and ICT skills The successful Science Teacher will be both ambitious and committed to the teaching of Science. They will bring enthusiasm, dedication and ideas to the department and a desire to promote success, whilst instilling in their students a passion for the subject. School Information The School is an 11-18 Mixed Comprehensive serving Ealing and the surrounding community. It is highly regarded in the local area and recognised as a friendly and welcoming school with high academic standards. The school has a very positive learning culture and their Ofsted report (2016) graded the school as Outstanding. Experience and Qualifications Degree in Science or similar QTS or PGCE Salary The salary for this Science Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS London.
