Food Technology Teacher – Inspiring Secondary School – Reading (April Start) Location: Reading Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS A leading secondary school in Reading is looking for a passionate Food Technology Teacher to join their vibrant team starting in April. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school renowned for its emphasis on creativity, student engagement, and hands-on learning. Why This School? Your Responsibilities: Plan and deliver dynamic Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4. Guide students in developing practical cooking skills, knowledge of nutrition, and understanding of food sustainability. Encourage students to experiment with new ingredients and recipes, fostering creativity in the kitchen. Support students with their GCSE coursework and exam preparations. What We’re Looking For: A qualified Food Technology Teacher (QTS or equivalent). Experience in teaching food technology and a passion for the subject. A creative approach to teaching and a commitment to making food education exciting. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Ready to make an impact in the kitchen and beyond?
