Job description
School Administrator – Outstanding Secondary School – Slough Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School Information This is a well-established 11–18 Outstanding Ofsted Rated Secondary School located in the heart of Slough . Administration Department The Administration Department is central to school operations, providing efficient, professional, and proactive support to students, staff, governors, and families. The team is known for its warm communication style, excellent organisational systems, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced educational setting. The department handles a wide range of responsibilities including attendance administration, student records, safeguarding documentation, communication with parents, scheduling, reprographics, and general front-of-house duties. Administrators are encouraged to take initiative, identify areas to streamline processes, and contribute to continuous improvement. You will be joining a well-resourced and supportive team that takes pride in delivering an exceptional service to the school community. Requirements • Strong administrative experience, ideally in an educational setting • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • High level of organisation and ability to prioritise workload effectively • Confident user of Microsoft Office and school MIS platforms (training provided) • Professional, calm, and friendly approach when working with students, parents, and staff • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding procedures • Commitment to providing exceptional support that aligns with the school’s values Application To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible.
