Job description
DT Teacher – Sixth Form College – Birmingham An Outstanding sixth-form college in Birmingham is looking for a dedicated and creative DT Teacher to join their department. This is a full-time, permanent position teaching Key Stage 5. DT Teacher Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners. Assess student progress regularly and provide effective feedback. Create a positive and engaging classroom environment. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Design & Technology department. Be part of an Outstanding team of DT Teachers. DT Teacher Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A degree in Design & Technology or a closely related subject. Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary or post-16 level. Strong classroom management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The desire to work as a DT Teacher. The College Offers: A supportive and collaborative working environment within an Outstanding sixth-form college.
