Job description
Join a school in Hammersmith, known for its strong focus on social sciences and critical thinking, as an Economics Teacher from September 2025. You will deliver engaging lessons at A-Level, fostering a deep understanding of economic theories and policies in a rigorous academic environment. Our curriculum emphasizes analytical skills and economic literacy. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons at A-Level, following exam specifications and incorporating current economic issues and research. Plan and deliver lessons that foster analytical skills, economic literacy, and critical thinking, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and data analysis, providing detailed feedback to support their development. Organize and lead economics-related activities, such as debating societies, research projects, and guest speaker sessions, promoting student engagement and academic inquiry. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong Economics subject knowledge, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics. Demonstrated experience teaching Economics at A-Level, with a focus on both theoretical concepts and analytical skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and research skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students in a rigorous academic environment.
