Year 5 Teacher – Maternity Cover Location: Wandsworth Start Date: Immediate Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover We are seeking a passionate and committed Year 5 Teacher for an immediate start to join our vibrant primary school in Wandsworth . This is a full-time maternity cover position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an outstanding school environment. The Role: Position: Year 5 Teacher (Maternity Cover) Start Date: Immediate You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum , ensuring each child reaches their full potential. Support the academic, social, and emotional development of Year 5 students. Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality lessons that are inspiring and inclusive, while working closely with other teachers and staff to maintain a high standard of education. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 , ideally in Year 5, although other KS2 experience will be considered. A passion for teaching, with the ability to create engaging and innovative lessons. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. A flexible and adaptable approach, especially in a temporary role.
