School Office Manager | Immediate Start | Sunderland, Tyne and Wear Ensuring operational success for the students of the North East. A large and thriving secondary school in Sunderland is looking for a resilient and organized Office Manager to start as soon as possible . We need a leader who can streamline processes, improve office efficiency, and serve as a vital link between the school office and the teaching faculty. The Snapshot Location: Sunderland (Convenient for A19 and Tyne & Wear Metro) Salary: Competitive (Sunderland City Council Scale) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: Immediate Detailed Responsibilities Office Operations: Designing and implementing efficient administrative systems to reduce teacher workload and improve parent engagement. Compliance & GDPR: Acting as the lead for Data Protection within the school office, ensuring all student and staff records are handled securely. Event Management: Overseeing the administrative planning for major school events, including Open Evenings, Awards Ceremonies, and Transition Days. Communication Strategy: Managing the school’s social media presence and parent communication apps to ensure timely and professional updates.
