Job description
A well-established 11–16 secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a committed and knowledgeable Teacher of History to join its thriving Humanities faculty. The school serves a mixed intake and has made strong progress in recent years, underpinned by clear leadership, a structured curriculum and consistent behaviour systems. History is a valued subject within the school, with healthy GCSE uptake and a curriculum designed to build powerful knowledge, analytical thinking and written precision. The Role You will teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering a carefully sequenced curriculum that spans medieval England, the transatlantic slave trade, industrial Britain and twentieth-century conflict.
