Media Studies Teacher – Independent School in Kingston (January Start) Location: Kingston Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale (Independent School) A dynamic and creative co-educational independent school in Kingston is seeking a talented Media Studies Teacher to join their thriving Arts & Creative Media Faculty from January. About the School Known for its modern ethos and forward-thinking academic culture, this independent school blends traditional values with cutting-edge teaching practice. The school has exceptional facilities including industry-standard editing suites, studio space and multi-camera production equipment. About the Media Department The department offers Media GCSE and A Level, with strong student uptake and excellent results. The team fosters creativity, analytical thinking and technical production skills, delivering a curriculum that ranges from film theory to digital content creation. Role Responsibilities • Teach Media Studies across KS4–KS5 • Lead practical projects in editing, filming and creative design • Support school productions, media clubs and filmmaking competitions • Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation Requirements • QTS + degree in Media, Film, Communications or related field • Experience teaching GCSE/A Level Media desirable • Passion for creative media and digital production To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible.
