Maths Teacher – Full-Time, Permanent Position in Dorking, Surrey! Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher seeking a rewarding, permanent role in a supportive secondary school? A thriving secondary school in Dorking, Surrey, is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher to join their successful and collaborative Mathematics department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed Maths Teacher to inspire students and contribute to a school with a strong commitment to academic excellence. The successful Maths Teacher will play a key role in developing students' mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. Job Title: Maths Teacher Location: Dorking, Surrey (Specific school details will be provided to shortlisted candidates only) Department: Mathematics / Maths Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent What We're Looking For: We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of Mathematics and a commitment to providing high-quality education. The ideal candidate will be: A qualified teacher (holding QTS or equivalent). Experienced in teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Experience teaching Key Stage 5 (A-Level Maths and/or Further Maths) is desirable but not essential. Passionate about Mathematics and able to inspire students of all abilities. An excellent classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills. Committed to raising student achievement and fostering a love of learning in Mathematics. A collaborative team player who is willing to contribute to the wider school community. Dedicated to their own professional development. A skilled Maths Teacher Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across the relevant Key Stages. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback, both written and verbal. Maintain accurate records of student attainment and progress. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mathematical thinking and problem-solving. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Mathematics department and across the school. Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and resources. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress. Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils.
