Job description
A well-established secondary school in Southend is seeking a reliable and organised Admissions Assistant to join their administrative team. This is a full-time, permanent role, crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s admissions process and providing support to students, parents, and staff. About the Role As an Admissions Assistant, you will work closely with the Admissions Officer and wider administrative team to manage enquiries, process applications, and maintain accurate student records. You will provide professional and friendly support to prospective and current students and their families, ensuring the admissions process is seamless and efficient. Key Responsibilities • Processing admissions applications and maintaining student records • Responding to enquiries from parents, guardians, and students • Supporting transition arrangements for new students • Assisting with reporting and data entry for admissions processes • Providing general administrative support to the school office and leadership • Ensuring compliance with data protection and safeguarding policies School Information This secondary school in Southend has a reputation for academic excellence, positive student behaviour, and a supportive staff culture.
