Job description
A prestigious independent school in Sussex is seeking a creative and highly organised Art Technician to join its successful Art department as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to support high-quality creative provision within a well-resourced and academically ambitious independent setting. The Art department is a valued part of the curriculum, with strong uptake at GCSE and A Level and a clear commitment to creative excellence. The Role Preparing materials and resources for Art lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5 Supporting practical sessions in a wide range of media Maintaining specialist equipment and managing stock levels Assisting with exhibitions, displays, and portfolio preparation Ensuring safe storage and handling of materials Supporting departmental organisation and compliance documentation The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience in an Art Technician or creative support role Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of art materials and studio processes A creative and proactive approach The ability to support high academic and creative standards Strong communication and teamwork skills This independent school in Sussex is known for its strong academic standards, excellent facilities, and supportive leadership.
