Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher looking for a new challenge in Hertfordshire? A thriving and inclusive primary school is seeking a passionate teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from January 2026 . This is a full-time, permanent role offering the opportunity to inspire and challenge pupils at an important stage in their education. Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities · Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the Year 5 curriculum · Monitor and assess pupil progress to ensure all children achieve their potential · Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages independence and curiosity · Collaborate with colleagues across Key Stage 2 to share best practice and support school improvement · Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on progress · Contribute to the wider life of the school, including clubs, events, and enrichment activities Year 5 Teacher Requirements · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent · Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5 · Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment expectations · Excellent classroom management, organisation, and communication skills · A creative, reflective, and proactive approach to teaching · Commitment to promoting the wellbeing and development of every child Application If you are a dedicated Year 5 Teacher seeking a permanent role in Hertfordshire starting January 2026 , we would love to hear from you.
