Job description
A dynamic mixed academy in Camden is seeking a passionate Drama Teacher to join their performing arts department from September. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and develop their theatrical talents. Your Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and creative Drama lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Direct and produce school plays and performances. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Work within the school's performing arts department, collaborating with colleagues in music and dance. Develop and implement a range of extracurricular drama activities, including after-school clubs and workshops. Organize theatre visits and invite professional practitioners to the school. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge and experience in drama education. Ability to direct and produce school productions, including technical aspects such as lighting and sound. Experience in a variety of drama techniques and styles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
