Job description
History Teacher - Part-Time, Fixed-Term (April 2025 Start) A thriving All-Through School in Kensington is seeking a part-time History Teacher to join our dedicated Humanities department from April 2025. If you are passionate about history and eager to inspire young minds, we encourage you to apply! About Our Learning Community: Our All-Through School provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children from Nursery to Year 13. We are committed to providing a high-quality education that fosters a love of learning and a deep understanding of the world around us. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons at Key Stages 3-4. Plan and deliver lessons that bring history to life through a variety of teaching methods, including historical investigations, debates, and role-playing activities. Encourage critical thinking and historical analysis through research projects and class discussions. Prepare students for examinations while fostering their curiosity and developing their historical literacy. Contribute to the wider life of the school community and participate in school events. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in History. Experience teaching History at GCSE level. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
