Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable and organised Finance Assistant to join a thriving 11–18 academy in Portsmouth ASAP . This is a full-time, permanent position within a well-structured Finance Department that supports the smooth running of the school’s financial operations. • Finance Assistant – full-time, permanent • High-performing 11–18 academy in Portsmouth • ASAP start • Competitive salary and career development opportunities The Role The appointed Finance Assistant will provide crucial administrative and financial support to the Finance Team. Key responsibilities include processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with payroll and budgeting, and providing support for financial reporting and audits. You will play an important role in ensuring compliance with academy and statutory financial procedures. There is scope to develop your skills in a supportive environment with clear pathways for professional growth. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the school to maintain efficient and effective financial systems.
