Job description
A reliable and proactive School Caretaker is required to join an Outstanding secondary school in Leeds. This is a full-time, permanent position supporting the day-to-day operation, safety, and maintenance of the school site. School Caretaker Outstanding Secondary School, Leeds Full-time position Local Authority Pay Scale School Information This Outstanding 11–18 secondary school in Leeds educates approximately 1,300 pupils and is well known for its strong behaviour culture, excellent facilities, and supportive leadership team. The site is well maintained, modern, and benefits from ongoing investment. The school places a strong emphasis on health & safety, safeguarding, and teamwork. Staff describe the environment as professional, supportive, and well organised. Experience and Responsibilities Opening and closing the school site, including key holding General maintenance, minor repairs, and site checks Health & safety monitoring, fire checks, and reporting issues Liaising with contractors and supporting school events Salary Paid on the Local Authority support staff scale.
