About the Role As a Nursery Teacher, you will be at the heart of our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), guiding children through their early years and laying the foundations for a love of learning. What You’ll Be Doing Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and excite young learners in a play-based environment. Supporting children’s holistic development, including their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth, while following the EYFS curriculum. Creating a stimulating, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore and learn. Monitoring children’s progress and working closely with parents to ensure that each child’s individual needs are met. Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure that children’s development is supported in all areas. Encouraging children’s independence, curiosity, and creativity through hands-on activities, outdoor play, and structured learning. Providing a high level of care and support, ensuring children feel safe, happy, and confident in their learning journey. What We’re Looking For A qualified teacher with QTS or an equivalent Early Years qualification, with experience in teaching young children. A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development. Passion for working with young children and the ability to create an exciting and supportive environment that fosters growth and development. Experience with differentiating learning to meet the needs of children at various developmental stages. A nurturing and patient approach to teaching, with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families. Creativity and enthusiasm for creating engaging learning experiences and promoting the social, emotional, and academic growth of children.
