About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons at A-Level, following exam specifications and incorporating current economic issues and research. Plan and deliver lessons that foster analytical skills, economic literacy, and critical thinking, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources, including economic models and case studies. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and data analysis, providing detailed feedback to support their development. Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum, integrating current economic trends and research methodologies, and participate in departmental planning. Organize and lead economics-related activities, such as debating societies, research projects, and guest speaker sessions, promoting student engagement and academic inquiry. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong Economics subject knowledge, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics. Demonstrated experience teaching Economics at A-Level, with a focus on both theoretical concepts and analytical skills.
