About the Role This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2026. You will be responsible for leading the Business and Economics department while teaching Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students. The role involves shaping the curriculum, supporting departmental growth, and inspiring both students and colleagues. Strong leadership skills and a commitment to academic excellence are essential. About the Academy This large and oversubscribed mixed academy has approximately 1,727 students on roll, making it one of the biggest secondary schools in Wiltshire. Rated Good in all areas by Ofsted in November 2024, the academy has built a strong reputation locally and is consistently oversubscribed. GCSE outcomes are above national averages, with 51.1% of students achieving grade 5 or above in English and Maths in 2024. The sixth form is thriving, with excellent A-Level results and strong progression into higher education, apprenticeships, and employment.
