Job description
Drama Teacher required to work on a full-time position from January 2026 Good mixed school based in Watford Drama Teacher to join a thriving and well-resourced department Our Client is looking for a Drama Teacher to work within a creative, forward-thinking secondary school in Watford. The successful Drama Teacher will teach KS3 & KS4 and take an active role in leading school productions, workshops, and performing arts events. School Information This 11–18 mixed comprehensive educates approximately 1,300 students and has a record of consistent success, with 93% of pupils achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The Drama department benefits from a purpose-built studio theatre, dedicated rehearsal spaces, and a strong emphasis on expressive and collaborative learning. Teachers describe the school as dynamic, inclusive, and supportive, with an emphasis on both academic excellence and creative enrichment. The school runs an annual theatre production and numerous performing arts showcases, giving students valuable performance experience. Staff enjoy regular CPD, mentoring programmes, and a culture that values innovation and teamwork.
