Art Teacher – Highly Regarded Secondary School – Taunton – April Start Location: Taunton Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS A passionate and innovative Art Teacher is required to join a highly regarded secondary school in Taunton. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a thriving Art department that encourages creativity, experimentation, and expression. The opportunity to contribute to an exciting and expanding Art curriculum, including Fine Art, Graphics, Textiles, and Photography. Your Role as an Art Teacher: Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons across KS3, KS4, and potentially A-Level. Encourage students to develop technical skills, creativity, and critical thinking. Support students in preparing high-quality coursework and portfolios for GCSE and A-Level assessment. Lead extracurricular activities such as Art clubs, exhibitions, and workshops. Collaborate with the wider school community to promote the value of the arts. Contribute to whole-school initiatives that integrate Art with other subjects. Who We’re Looking For: A qualified Art Teacher with a strong passion for creative education. Expertise in a range of artistic mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital media, or photography. A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The ability to inspire and challenge students, helping them develop confidence in their artistic abilities. Strong communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to extracurricular involvement. An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
