Your Role as a HLTA: 🔹 Deliver high-quality learning support across a range of subjects to small groups or individual students. 🔹 Assist the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons , ensuring all students’ needs are met. 🔹 Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) , helping them engage with the curriculum and succeed in their learning. 🔹 Lead and manage small group interventions , providing tailored support to students requiring additional help. 🔹 Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development , encouraging positive learning behaviours and a growth mindset. 🔹 Monitor and assess student progress , working closely with teachers to ensure each child is reaching their potential. 🔹 Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a collaborative and effective learning environment. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ HLTA qualification or equivalent, with experience working in a primary school setting. ✅ Experience working with children in small groups or one-to-one, ideally with a focus on SEN support . ✅ A proactive, adaptable, and patient approach to supporting students. ✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents. ✅ A genuine passion for helping children achieve their best and make positive progress in their learning. ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
