Job description
Our client is seeking a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join an Outstanding-rated secondary school in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for an Art Teacher who is passionate about high-quality teaching and enjoys working in a school with strong leadership, high expectations, and a clear commitment to the arts. Art is a valued subject within the school, with strong student engagement and consistently high standards of work. The Role Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that develop creativity and technical skill Supporting pupils with coursework, sketchbooks, and portfolio development Encouraging the use of a wide range of artistic media and techniques Contributing to displays, exhibitions, and enrichment activities Working collaboratively within a successful and supportive Art department The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) Strong subject knowledge and understanding of assessment requirements High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach School Information This Outstanding secondary school in Swindon is known for its exceptional leadership, calm learning environment, and consistently strong academic and creative outcomes.
