About the Role A forward-thinking Independent academy in Islington seeks a dedicated Drama Teacher to inspire students in their theatrical journey. This permanent, full-time position commences in September, providing the opportunity for a passionate Drama Teacher to guide students through complex dramatic concepts up to GCSE level. We are looking for a skilled Drama Teacher to join our team. About the School This institution prides itself on its innovative approach to performing arts education, well-equipped drama studios, and a supportive environment. The Drama department offers students access to advanced resources, engaging performances, and industry connections. We need a capable Drama Teacher to contribute to our department. Responsibilities Deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' performance and analytical skills. Guide students through GCSE coursework, ensuring their success in dramatic studies and performances. Utilise a variety of dramatic techniques and technologies. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Drama curriculum. Lead extracurricular activities such as drama clubs and theatrical productions. We want a Drama Teacher with these abilities. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field. PGCE or QTS. Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary level. We need an experienced Drama Teacher for this role.
