Job description
A leading independent Senior School in Barnet, North London, with a formidable reputation for outstanding scientific achievement, seeks an expert Teacher of Chemistry starting January 2026. Responsibilities Teach high-quality Chemistry lessons across the secondary curriculum (Key Stage 3 through A-Level), ensuring strong conceptual understanding and practical proficiency. Prepare students meticulously for high achievement in GCSE and A-Level examinations, fostering a passion for further scientific study. Manage and maintain specialist laboratory facilities, ensuring safe and effective practical instruction. Contribute to the school's strong STEM co-curricular program, supporting science societies or Olympiad preparation. Requirements A strong degree in Chemistry and demonstrable success teaching the subject up to A-Level in a selective setting (QTS/PGCE valued).
